Do you have a story to tell? Would you like to share your experiences of Moorfields with a wider audience?
The media office is always keen to speak to people who have had a positive experience at Moorfields, and to use their story to raise awareness of the Trust and its work. This could be treatment for a cataract operation, laser surgery, or maybe gaining some sight back after a cornea graft. Or any positive experiences, for example a member of staff who went above and beyond their duty.
Depending on the nature of the story, it could be something the media are interested in, particularly if the treatment has had such a positive impact on your life. We are often approached by the media for case studies, and we would like to develop a database of patients who would be prepared to talk about their treatment. We get a range of requests from newspaper, television and radio, as well as documentary and news.
The case studies could also be used to raise awareness among staff, for publicity purposes such as leaflets, for In Focus (the Trust's membership magazine), or for the website.
