The Trust's paediatric service covers a wide range of eye conditions and settings, including outpatient clinics, accident and emergency, and surgery.

Paediatric ophthalmic services available at Moorfields include:

  • adnexal,
  • anophthalmic,
  • cataracts,
  • external disease,
  • genetics,
  • glaucoma,
  • medical retina,
  • microophthalmia,
  • oculoplastics,
  • orthoptics,
  • primary care,
  • strabismus (squint),
  • uveitis, and
  • vitreo retinal.

Additional services include:

  • an accident and emergency department (for adults and children together),
  • developmental and general paediatrician joint clinics with ophthalmologists, and
  • the assistance of a family support team.
